Kisbér, as a central area, plays a significant role in the life of the villages of Bakonyalja.
From any direction coming to the town, the mangled church tower appears at first. The vicarage next to the church used to be a monastery long ago.
The biggest roofed riding-ring of Central Europe was built for the stud in 1858. On the monument 100 metres from the riding-ring can read the names of the most famous horses. This hotel is named after Kincsem which was one of the most famous horses in Kisbér.

The Mari Jászai Museum can be found in Ászár, a district of Kisbér. A wine cellar can be found by the side of the museum since Batthyány's days. The well-known wines of Ászár wine-growing area are kept in this cellar - e.g. Ezerjó, Szürkebarát and Ászári Asszonyfektető. When visiting a wine cellar taste these wines.
Hánta is situated between Bakony and Kisalföld. At Easter Mondays the famous eggrolling competition is organized on the Tuskós Hillside in Hánta.

In the forests around Kisbér there are a lot of games. Hunting lodges give hunters a warm welcome. You can go fishing in Ászár, Hánta and Kisbér.

In Kisbér, it is worth seeing the Roman Catholic Church.
A wonderful funfair with a brook and a waterfall, built by the batthyány Family is situated in the heart of Kisbér. The castle works as a hospital nowadays. Facing the hospital, there is the riding-ring. In front of this there is a equestrain statue by János Fadrusz. Ferenc Kozma's bust can also be found there. He was a famous horse-breeder in the 19th century.

The hotel is a good starting point to take a short walk or go on a longer tour. After an exhausting day, you can take a rest in the sauna or you can warm up in the solarium on a cold day.

The provincial town has got three important places of interest: The Cistercian Abbey, which was founded in 1182; The Antal Reguly Library, which belongs to the abbey and in which there are 65 000 incunabula, rare books and periodicals; and The Science Museum, which presents the flora and fauna of Bakony. It is worth seeing the arboretum with its 600 kinds of plants and trees.

Veszprém
Veszprém used to be a royal centre at one time. Nowadays it is a provincial town and has got a big university.

Pápa
Pápa is a Baroque provincial town surrounded with civil houses.

Pannonhalma
Pannonhalma has got a 1000 - year - old Benedictine Abbey. The founndationns of the still extant St. Martin Basilica were laid by Prince Géza. Later King St. Stephen continued the construction in 1001. Pannonhalma has been a town since 2000. The abbey and its area its part of the World Heritage of The United Nations.
Győr
Győr in Northern Transdanubia is a county seat, with more than 200,000 inhabitants. The 'town of four rivers' had an animated historic past. Today, the town is one of the significant industrial and commercial centres of the county. In the summer, open-air concerts are held in Győr.

Székesfehérvár
Székesfehérvár was once a royal seat. Until 1527, kings were crowned here and the members of the ruling dynasty were mostly buried here. In 1972, the town celebrated its millennium.
The remnants of the royal basilica can be seen in the Garden of Ruins, where 37 kings were crowned and 17 were buried.

Komárom
Komárom is the biggest town of Csallóköz. Mór Jókai, the famous writer and Ferenc Lehár, the world-famous composer, whose statues can be seen in the town, were born in Komárom. There is also a fortress there that was built in 1541 during the Turkish domination.
